DEF Nord-Est at the ” Industries du Futur BE 4.0 ” exhibition

The leading trade fair for industrial actors interested in managing their conversion to Industry 4.0 took place at the Parc Expo at Mulhouse (East of France) on 19 and 20 November 2019. It provided an opportunity for DEF Nord-Est to promote its innovative solutions for fire safety at complex industrial sites.

Thanks to its location in a region where French, German and Swiss national strategies converge, BE 4.0 showcases the wealth of cross-border trends in terms of Industry 4.0. With 4,114 top-notch visitors and 273 international exhibitors, the 2019 exhibition was a resounding success which notably bolstered DEF’s international reach.

The concept of Industry 4.0, also known as “smart manufacturing”, refers to a new way of organizing means of production. This new form of industry is emerging as the point of intersection of the virtual world, digital design and management with products and objects in the real world.

Faithful to our values of innovation and engagement in service of the evolution of fire safety, DEF is fully in line with this innovative approach. During this 5^th edition of the Mulhouse fair, visitors to the DEF stand (D01) were able to discover the latest fire detection solutions in response to industrial issues, as well as innovative digital services which optimize the operation and maintenance of these complex sites’ fire safety systems.

This was truly a dialogue-rich event for DEF Nord-Est!
