Management of emergency exits
An emergency exit is an exit created in a room, a building or a transport vehicle, to enable rapid evacuation of the areas by people in the event of an accident.
An emergency exit is controlled, depending on the size of the building, the number and category of people it accommodates. It is marked on the evacuation plans placed in the buildings and bears a specific marking to distinguish it from a standard door.
The DEF Network manufactures centralised emergency exit management solutions (UGCIS). Available in stand-alone or centralised versions, these emergency exits are kept locked by Actuated Devices of Safety (ASD), and may be combined with a video camera for dispelling any doubt before opening the doors.
